Hillscripts is a digital publishing platform, news source and an integrated communication partner based in Shillong, Meghalaya. We are dedicated to fostering public awareness and understanding the multifaceted aspects of the Northeast region.
Our Story
It started with a simple but powerful observation. The Northeast India narrative — rich, complex, and culturally vibrant — was often being filtered through the lens of outside perspectives. There was a critical gap. The world was looking at the region, but not truly listening to it. The nuances of the hills, the rhythm of the streets, and the pulse of the local businesses were being lost in translation.
Founded by Charlieman Sangma (young entrepreneur) in the heart of Shillong, Meghalaya. Hillscripts was built to bridge that gap.
